Today’s guest on Chapter Talks (English-language edition) is Rod White, Chief Designer at Philips TV & Sound. Rod White graduated in Furniture Design from Edinburgh College of Art and started his career in Tokyo, designing products for Toshiba. Thereafter he worked for Philips Design in different roles, based in Eindhoven, Vienna, Singapore. In Singapore he was also a part time lecturer for Furniture Design at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. In his current position as Chief Design Officer he laid the foundation of the so called »European Design Philosophy« for the brands tv & sound products.
